As a recognised independent youth welfare organisation, MW Malteser Werke gemeinnützige GmbH cares for young people throughout Germany within the framework of inpatient youth welfare.
In our facility, children and young people aged 6 to a maximum of 21 years are supported through therapeutic and educational services in the stabilisation and treatment of mental and psychiatric disorders and illnesses. We pay particular attention to promoting relationship skills, learning practical life skills and establishing a daily structure.

We are looking for a part-time housekeeper (m/f/d) (16 hours/week) for our intensive therapy centre in Potsdam as soon as possible.

What you can expect with us:
The main focus of your work will be on planning, purchasing and preparing meals together with educators and individual young people. In addition, the young people in our facility will occasionally be supported in cleaning the common rooms.
The assignment will mainly take place from lunchtime on weekdays (Monday to Friday).
Supplementary tasks are:

- Compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and work area incl. cleaning work as required & agreed
. Cleaning work according to occasion & agreement
- Checking and organising the fridges
- Washing the laundry and instructing the young people in doing the laundry

What we would like you to do:

- Knowledge and practical experience in housekeeping and nutrition
- Very good knowledge of German to ensure clear communication with young people, colleagues and external persons
- A confident, understanding and appreciative manner towards the children and young people
- Independent organisation of work processes
- A desire for teamwork
- Creativity and initiative
