Job description
The city of Meuselwitz is looking for
**a housekeeping employee (m/f/d) **for the premises of the city of Meuselwitz including branch offices as of 01.12.2026
.
Requirements:
- Professional experience and knowledge in housekeeping
- Physical resilience
- Reliability and punctuality
- Willingness to work alternating shifts
- Enjoyment of working with children of kindergarten age
- Instruction according to § 43 Infection Protection Act
- Driving licence class B and willingness to use a company vehicle
Tasks:
- Cleaning of the service, meeting and ancillary rooms of service buildings and other facilities of the city of Meuselwitz according to the cleaning plan
- Service and errands, assigned courier trips
- Preparation and follow-up of the premises for weddings, meetings of the city council and committees, other meetings, Consultations and events
- Responsibility for the equipment and compliance with hygienic conditions of the social rooms and washrooms
- Manual winter service within the framework of the winter service plan
- Cooperation and independent action in the elimination of inadequacies and sources of danger
- Representation of the area of activity in the day-care centres
- Representation of the building manager in the town hall area of activity
This is what you can expect from us:
- This is a permanent part-time position of 20 hours per week
- You will be graded according to the public service collective agreement (TVöD) in pay group E 2
- In addition, you will receive all the benefits of the public service, e.g. annual special payment, annual bonus, annual salary, etc.E.g. annual special payment, performance-related pay in accordance with § 18 TVöD, payment of capital-forming benefits, holiday entitlement of 30 working days/year, company pension scheme
