To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed

part-time (40-50%)

agricultural assistant (m/f/d) for our newly built, professionally equipped hay milk barn with a herd of around 105 dairy cows as soon as possible on a permanent basis. Our farm operates consistently according to Demeter guidelines and places great value on animal welfare, sustainability and the high quality of our hay milk.

Pestalozzi Neuhof gGmbH in Wahlwies is part of the Pestalozzi Children's and Youth Village, which is a safe place for children and young people in difficult life situations and for young adults with special needs. Around 500 people from a wide range of professions work together to ensure that every child, young person and young adult has the best possible conditions in which to grow and develop. The strength of our community lies in its diversity.

These are your tasks:

- Assisting with daily barn work in a modern hay milk barn
- Looking after and caring for the dairy herd (feeding, animal observation, health checks)
- Carrying out milking work and maintaining the milking equipment
- Assisting with calf rearing and animal care
- Operating and maintaining agricultural machinery and equipment
- General farm and maintenance work

What you bring with you:

- A completed apprenticeship as an agricultural journeyman / farmer (m/f/d) or comparable qualification would be desirable
- Experience in dealing with dairy cows, ideally in the hay milk sector
- Interest in organic farming and biodynamic farming methods (Demeter)
- A sense of responsibility, reliability and an independent way of working
- Ability to work in a team and enjoy practical work with animals
- Technical understanding and ideally a class T or B driving licence
