The Rittmarshausen Psychagogical Child and Youth Welfare Association offers inpatient and semi-residential youth welfare services with a socio-pedagogical and professionally differentiated focus on psychotherapy/trauma education and curative education. A special school for emotional and social development (FöS-ES) is affiliated to the overall facility as a state-recognised alternative school under the same sponsorship. A total of around 142 places for children and young people are currently offered at several locations in the municipality of Gleichen and in Göttingen. The centre currently employs 170 staff.

We are looking for a housekeeper (m/f/d)

for our 5-day group in Gleichen-Rittmarshausen as soon as possible

with 30.0 hours/week

Girls and boys aged 6-14 years are cared for in this weekly group. The overall concept is psychotherapeutically orientated. By offering a structured daily routine in the residential group, the children and young people are provided with a supportive framework within which positive individual development is possible. Housekeeping plays a central role in this, and applicants should have professional training as a housekeeper.

Our personal profile includes:

- An approachable attitude towards children and young people in their individual and special circumstances
- A basic understanding of education and a willingness to involve children and young people in housekeeping tasks
- Flexibility and stability are required

The main tasks are the following housekeeping activities:

- Preparing and preparing meals for children and young people and 1-2 educators on duty (the focus is on a healthy diet)
- Shopping and menu planning, storage
- Laundry care (including sewing)
- Compliance with hygiene and food regulations
- Helping to create an appealing group atmosphere
- Cleaning the living area and sanitary facilities
- Helping to organise parties and birthdays
