- Cleaning the house, i.e. the communal, sanitary, kitchen, office, storage and cellar rooms.
- Cleaning and maintaining the inventory in accordance with the materials
- Creating and maintaining a positive, inviting and cosy basic atmosphere
- Setting up and documenting a weekly, balanced menu
- Preparing hot lunches during the week (Monday to Friday) and other snacks in line with the latest nutritional and physiological findings and the needs of the residents
- Coordinating and carrying out purchases as part of sensible stockpiling
- Disposing of waste
- Handling materials in a budget- and environmentally-friendly manner
- Taking educational needs into account and providing educational learning areas
- Implementing applicable official regulations and documenting them where necessary (in particular to document (esp. Hygiene regulations according to the Infection Protection Act and the Food Hygiene Ordinance)
- Ensuring unsupervised access to materials and cleaning agents (risk of poisoning and accident prevention)

What profile should you bring with you?

- Independent planning and organisation of the work to be done
- Confident handling of the housekeeping of a day group as well as responsibility for compliance with all relevant hygiene and safety regulations (instructions for use and dosage of cleaning agents).
- Experience in food preparation and cooking for a larger group.
- Diligence and reliability in working independently on household tasks.
- Ideas for promoting and stimulating the practical life skills of young people.
- Identification with the tasks, goals and values of the organisation. To inform the group leader or the group educators at the place of work about pedagogically relevant events.
- Class B driving licence (old: class 3) and an extended certificate of good conduct free of entries
