We are a dyke sheep farm in Lower Saxony with around 1,500 ewes and manage our flocks with passion, expertise and a high standard of animal welfare. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed employee (m/f/d) to support our company with motivation, personal responsibility and drive as soon as possible.

Your tasks

- Independent management of the herds, also using herding dogs
- Daily care of the animals: feeding, watering, health checks
- Care and care of the herding and livestock guarding dogs
- Care during the lambing season (lambing, birth assistance)
- Claw care and sheep shearing
- Erection and dismantling of fences and coupling systems, incl. Wolf protection
- Care and maintenance of stables, grazing areas and farm equipment

Your profile

- Completed vocational training as an animal farmer (specialising in sheep farming),
- Shepherd or comparable practical experience
- Career starters also welcome
- Career changers with relevant experience are welcome
- Enjoy working with animals and in nature, even in all weathers
- Class B driving licence mandatory, Class BE desirable
- Reliable, independent and responsible way of working
- Ability to work in a team and good communication
