Job description
For many people with mental illnesses or addictions, a structured everyday life is a key step towards greater independence and participation.
The Sozialtherapeutische Kette gGmbH (STK) is a non-profit organisation that provides various services and facilities for integration assistance in the Southern Palatinate. Our services are primarily aimed at people with mental, neurological or psychological impairments as well as people with chronic addictions who need support in their social participation and lifestyle.
In our special forms of housing in Landau, we accompany people in their everyday lives and support them in maintaining and developing practical life skills.
Your role with us
As a housekeeper, you are an important anchor in the everyday lives of our residents. You not only ensure that our facilities remain a clean and cosy home, but also play a key role in providing domestic care and support. You will not only be involved in practical work, but also accompany our residents on an equal footing, provide them with professional guidance and help them to (re)learn practical everyday skills and implement them independently.
Your tasks
- Professional support & guidance: You will support residents with housekeeping activities and specifically promote their independence.
- Organising everyday life: Teaching specialist housekeeping knowledge in an appreciative atmosphere.
- Practical assistance: Implementation and coordination of daily housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, kitchen).
- Catering & management: Responsibility for menu planning, needs-based purchasing and appropriate storage.
- Quality assurance: Consistent compliance with and implementation of hygiene and quality standards (HACCP).
- Event support: Helping to design and organise parties, celebrations and community events.

Working hours and duty structure
- No split shifts: planning security for your private life.
- Core hours: Monday to Friday, predominantly between 08:00 and 19:00.
- Flexibility: the position is available full-time or part-time.
