We are now looking for permanent, energetic support (m/f/d) in milking our 60-strong organic cow herd on a full-time or part-time basis.

Our farm is located in the Schaalsee biosphere reserve. We manage a former LPG site in the Bioland association. Our family-run farm has a double-4 tandem milking parlour, in which it is possible to milk 8 animals at the same time. For our farm we are looking for supporting employees (m/f/d) for the daily milking work and versatile tasks around animal husbandry as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

- Preparing and following up milking time (preparing the milking system, topping up concentrates, hygiene work)
- Actively milking the cows in a double-4 tandem
- Observing health and oestrus
- In summer: fetching animals from the pasture once a day

What you should bring with you:

- Professional experience desirable, ideally in the field of dairy cows, milking, animal husbandry
- Basic knowledge of handling cows and working safely with milking technology - or a desire to learn it with us
- Openness to a practical start - we will be happy to teach you the activities
- Flexibility, independence and a sense of responsibility
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays (by arrangement)
