Team Leader for Green Space Maintenance (m/f/d)

For our Green and Forestry department, we are looking for a competent successor for the team leader of green space maintenance as soon as possible on a permanent basis and preferably full-time (39.0 hours per week).

Green space maintenance maintains the green spaces belonging to the TBZ in accordance with a maintenance class concept. This also includes the maintenance of trees along the streets and in green spaces belonging to the TBZ and municipal institutions.

The area of responsibility essentially comprises the following activities:

- Technical and organisational management of green space maintenance
- Management and deployment planning of employees (column control)
- Selection of plants and woody plants taking into account climate resilience and biodiversity
- Organisation and safeguarding of green space maintenance in municipal facilities
- Management and organisation of the vehicle and machine fleet in the green area
- Preparation of offers for third-party orders
- Preparation of service specifications and participation in procurement
- Checking invoices from suppliers and contractors
- Participation in the training of our trainees in gardening and landscaping
(incl. Takeover of the trainer function - immediately or in the future)

We expect:

- Completed qualification as - Master Gardener (m/f/d) in gardening and landscaping or
- State-certified technician (m/f/d) in gardening and landscaping
- Expertise in the areas of green space maintenance and tree care
- Ideally experience in personnel management or willingness to take on management responsibility
- Commercial understanding (e.g. for quotations, calculation, invoice verification) for quotations, calculation, invoice verification)
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Class B driving licence
- Instructor qualification in accordance with AEVO
