To strengthen our urban drainage team, we are looking for a full-time

gardener for our urban drainage

(m/f/d) as soon as possible. Part-time employment is possible, provided that a working time model compatible with the requirements of the position can be found.

- Maintenance and cleaning of rainwater retention and rainwater clarification basins
- Mowing and maintenance of soakaways and retention areas
- Cutting open discharge points, Ditches and embankments
- Carrying out tree and shrub maintenance work
- Tree felling work and securing danger spots in traffic areas
- Maintaining green and operational areas at the wastewater treatment plant
- Assisting with work during ongoing wastewater treatment plant operations
- Maintaining and servicing machinery and equipment
- Documenting the work carried out
- Deployment in winter service (e.g. clearing and gritting)
- Carrying out maintenance and repair work

What you need:

- Completed vocational training as a gardener, horticulturist and landscaper or in a comparable profession (e.g. arborist or farmer)

- A degree in gardening, horticulture and landscaping

- A forward-looking, independent and economical way of working
- Willingness to complete the basic sewage attendant course
- Class B/BE driving licence

- Good written and spoken German (at least C1 level according to CEFR)
