Job description
The Union zur Förderung von Öl- und Proteinpflanzen e. V. (UFOP) is seeking at the earliest possible date
for the field office located at the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of AgricultureA clerk for oil and protein plants
with an average regular weekly working time of 20 hours. The place of work is Rendsburg.
The task of the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Agriculture is to develop innovative advisory concepts for practical agriculture. The Crop Production, Plant Protection and Environment Department develops sustainable cultivation systems on the basis of comprehensive field trials. In the field of oil and protein plants, there has been close cooperation with the Union zur Förderung von Oel- und Proteinpflanzen e.V. (UFOP) for many years.
The tasks include:
- Supporting the planning, supervision, evaluation and publication of federal and EU variety trials
- Application for, supervision, evaluation and publication of cultivation trials
- Membership and participation in UFOP expert committees
- Membership and participation in the variety commissions of the Variety Promotion Society (SFG)
- activities as a contact person for advisory organisations
The following qualifications are expected of applicants:
- A degree from a university of applied sciences or university in agricultural sciences
- a scientific and practice-orientated professional orientation and
- experience in field trials
In addition, in-depth knowledge of plant cultivation, especially in the cultivation of oil and protein crops, a willingness to develop innovative cultivation systems, teamwork, a sense of responsibility and decisiveness as well as good oral and written communication skills are essential.
In addition, a high level of resilience and a willingness to work flexible hours during sowing and harvesting campaigns are required.
Possession of a category B driving licence and your own car are mandatory requirements for the position.We offer:
