The Wadzeck Foundation, founded in 1819 as the first Protestant orphanage in Berlin, is a traditional and innovative independent youth welfare organisation. More than 120 children and young people are cared for by the foundation in inpatient, day-care and outpatient programmes.


We are looking for you as a housekeeper for our inpatient residential groups (part-time 20-30 hours/week)


Your tasks include:

- Housekeeping activities in family-like living arrangements, in particular preparing lunch and cleaning rooms, this includes
- planning lunchtime meals on weekdays in coordination with the educators
- preparing lunchtime meals for residential groups and a school/day group of 25-30 meals on Mondays - Fridays
- purchasing the necessary food
- cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
- managing the necessary funds for each group
- keeping a cash book and accounting for the funds used for purchasing in the administration
- a willingness to cover for other groups
- a willingness to work at other times and at weekends, for festivals and events
