Stable assistant/horse groom (m/f/d)

We are looking for a reliable and committed stable assistant/horse groom (m/f/d) to support our team with immediate effect.

The Walddörfer Riding Club (RVW) has been focussing on the joy of working with horses since 1961. We keep about 40 horses, are a good community with children, young people and adults and the stable is located on the beautiful outskirts of Hamburg in Hamburg-Volksdorf. Public transport connections are available.

We are looking for a reliable worker to join our team in the mornings. Various working time models are possible: part-time with the prospect of full-time.

Your tasks:

- Daily care and grooming of the horses
- Feeding, watering and checking their health
- Mucking out and keeping the stables clean
- Maintaining riding facilities, paddocks and pastures
- Assisting with general yard work

Your profile:

- Experience in working with horses an advantage
- Physical resilience and reliability
- Sense of responsibility and independent working style
- Ability to work in a team and enjoy working with animals
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
