I would like to introduce myself briefly...
My name is Stefan Klabautschke, I am a trained master gardener - specialising in tree nursery and have been running the company Baumschule . Klabautschke in the 2nd generation since 2000.

The company Baumschule A.Klabautschke has existed since 1965 and has been producing plants in its own nursery since then. It all started with 4.5 hectares of land, and today the company has grown to 15 hectares and produces a wide range of woody plants from A for apple trees to Z for ornamental currants.

Our marketing is divided into three parts:

1. Private sales, advice to the customer on the plant
2. Garden services, planting work in gardens, maintenance work and garden planning
3. Angro and wholesale market customers, supply of nursery stock with pots and pictures for private customers.

We produce specialised crops such as fruit and roses, for which a high level of knowledge and cultivation work is required. The A.Klabautschke nursery is now known for this and ships its goods throughout Germany.
We therefore work in small groups so that we can also integrate new employees into the system. In this way, we support each other, and if the tasks are well received, new areas can be opened up and completed.

We are looking for reinforcement for these interesting and growing work processes.......
- Prepare young plants
- Support grafting work
- Create new cultures for the shelves on the potting machine
- Carry out cultivation work in the open field, e.g.
- If technical knowledge is available, support processes with equipment
- Prepare and dispatch plants for shipping
- Provide services in private gardens
This is a small selection of our areas of responsibility.

Who can become a journeyman in the nursery?
Anybody who can prove that they have a qualification in gardening. Here, for example, it is possible to be given new and interesting tasks as a flower and ornamental plant journeyman here in the tree nursery and to acquire a position there.

- Above-tariff pay
- Development opportunities with good performance in the company

What requirements are necessary:
- Driving licence B for cars
- Driving licence BE (not mandatory)
- Good physical fitness is necessary, as well as the willingness to work outdoors.
- Good comprehension and willingness to communicate in a team and enjoy working with plants
