Job description
- pay group 5 TVöD
- permanent
- with a regular weekly working time of up to 39 hours at the earliest possible date in the cemetery integration department.
Your tasks:
- Carrying out all gardening work: Planting work (according to season), bed maintenance and weed removal, cutting hedges and shrubs, mowing, scarifying, leaf work and disposal, soil improvement and mulching, shaping paths and beds
- Use and operate all machinery and equipment necessary for the various tasks
- Sow and maintain fallow areas in accordance with environmental and nature conservation requirements
- Check, process and document concerns received from e.g. citizens or service providers. These can be unkempt areas, pruning of bushes, rubbish deposits, etc.
- Care and maintenance of machines in the column
- Notification of requirements regarding the purchase of machines purchase of machinery
- Assistance in the development and optimisation of the machinery
- Helping out in tree care in cases of staff shortages
- Ensuring road safety in terms of path control, removal of defects or reporting of defects depending on the cost of removal
- If necessary, winter service for the cemetery grounds
- If necessary, support in the burial service: Opening and closing the grave and carrying the coffin
Your profile:
- Experience in all gardening and planting work
- Knowledge of environmental protection
- Sound plant knowledge of woody plants, shrubs, lawns and perennials
- Experience in dealing with inclusion employees
- Communication, assertiveness, diligence and sense of responsibility
Your requirements:
- Training as a gardener, specialising in gardening and landscaping cemetery or tree nursery
- Driving licence class B (CE)
