The Zweckverband Restabfallbehandlung Ostthüringen (ZRO) is a public corporation

that operates a landfill and a waste transfer station at the Großlöbichau site (Saale-Holzland district). For this area, we are looking for a

Green space maintenance/intake control employee (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility:

- Maintenance of green spaces and cleaning of outdoor facilities (drainage systems etc.).)
- Carrying out minor repairs (fencing, structural facilities, etc.)
- Carrying out winter maintenance
- Operating/maintaining various equipment/vehicles (e.g. lawnmowers, chainsaws, tool carriers, construction equipment)
- Substituting (approx. 20% of working hours): Admission control/scale
- Checking waste deliveries for correct waste declaration
- Vehicle weighing and processing using a PC
- Keeping operating diaries, registers and cash register for small deliveries
- Waste advice for citizens and companies
- Duty according to duty rota, also possible on Saturdays
- As a deputy (approx. 10 % of working time): Landfill/refuse transfer station equipment operator

Your skills:

- Driving licence B, BE, C1, C1E
- Completed vocational training (desirable in the manual/technical field, in gardening and landscaping or in waste management)
- Good technical understanding
- Experience in operating the above-mentioned equipment
- Independence and self-reliance
- Experience in operating the above-mentioned equipment. Equipment

Our services:

- Full-time (39 hours per week)
- Permanent employment contract (after induction period)
- Remuneration in accordance with the collective agreement for the public sector (pay group 5 TVöD)
- Annual holiday entitlement of 30 days (31 days from 2027)
